Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know you’re the right therapist for me?

The right therapist is less about finding the "best" therapist and more about finding the right fit. Our consultation is an opportunity to talk about what's bringing you in, answer your questions, and see whether working together feels right.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is simply a conversation.

We'll explore what brings you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope might change. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin.

What if I don't know where to start?

Most people don't.

Many clients begin therapy knowing only that something feels different, that they feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or uncertain about what's next. We'll start where you are and make sense of it together.

What kinds of concerns do you work with?

I work with adults and couples navigating relationship challenges, parenting and co-parenting, life transitions, career changes, questions of identity, and a changing sense of direction.

While each person's story is unique, many clients share a common experience: trying to understand who they are becoming while staying connected to the life and relationships that matter to them.

What are your fees

Individual sessions are $200, and couples or family sessions are $225. Sessions are 50 minutes, with longer sessions available and prorated accordingly.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale openings for clients experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a concern, please don't hesitate to reach out; we can discuss options during a consultation.

What is your approach to therapy?

My approach is relational, attachment-informed, and grounded in understanding the experiences and patterns that shape how we relate to ourselves and others.

I draw from attachment theory, family systems, trauma-informed perspectives, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples to help clients create greater understanding, connection, and meaningful change.

Do you offer Telehealth?

I prefer in-person sessions because I believe the therapeutic relationship is strengthened through shared presence and connection.

I also understand that flexibility matters. Telehealth sessions are available for clients who need the convenience or accessibility of meeting remotely.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not contract with insurance providers. If you have a PPO plan with out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement.

I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement is determined by your individual insurance plan and cannot be guaranteed.

Will I receive a "Good Faith" estimate?

In accordance with the No Surprises Act, clients paying privately for therapy in Los Angeles receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the anticipated cost of services before treatment begins.

My goal is to provide transparency and clarity around session fees so there are no surprises when it comes to your care or investment.
